About the position
Electrical Service Technician
For our client in Heesch, we are looking for a Service Technician Electrical Engineering. As a Service Technician, you ensure that installations are always in top condition. You expertly resolve malfunctions, perform preventive maintenance on building-related installations, and handle small electrical tasks of various kinds. With your service van, you visit multiple clients daily (private individuals, housing associations, and small to medium-sized businesses) to independently resolve reported malfunctions, sometimes with the help of an assistant technician. Most small-scale electrical service work is in the immediate areas of Heesch or Roosendaal.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The role primarily focuses on service, maintenance, and the finishing of new installations. You are also involved in detecting, analyzing, and resolving malfunctions. All tasks, whether new or existing, are small-scale and service-oriented.
Your responsibilities include:
• Managing, inspecting, and testing installations on a regular basis (with sustainability in mind);
• Performing, maintaining, replacing, and ensuring installations are in good condition;
• Creating digital reports on maintenance and technical management;
• Planning your own maintenance activities;
• Checking if the client requires additional functionalities for the installation;
• Advising clients on additional preventive maintenance;
• Occasionally participating in a 24-hour on-call service (fault service) on a rotating schedule.

What Do You Bring as a Service Technician Electrical Engineering?
• An MBO (level 4) diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent experience;
• Proven relevant work experience with building-related installations;
• A solution-oriented mindset and client-focused approach;
• A safety certificate (VCA) and a valid driver’s license (B);
• Motivation and an interest in further professional development;
• Flexibility and willingness to participate in the on-call service schedule.
