For our client in Culemborg, we are looking for a Tender Specialist – Procurement.

Are you an organizational talent with an eye for detail and a passion for tendering and procurement? As a Tender Specialist, you play a crucial role within the team. You are responsible for drafting and managing (European) tenders and tender documents. With your analytical mindset and persuasive writing skills, you help the organization stand out from the competition.

What Will You Do?

In this role, you will be involved in various tendering processes. Your responsibilities include:

• Actively participating in project teams for (EU) tenders and procurement assignments;

• Drafting tender documents and budget estimates by collecting, assessing, and processing relevant information;

• Communicating internally and externally about tender procedures;

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather input;

• Preparing project plans and procedures and ensuring deadlines are met;

• Making proposals regarding selection and award criteria and evaluation systems;

• Assessing bids for (EU) tenders and procurement assignments;

• Conducting quality checks on tender documents;

• Identifying and introducing new tender opportunities;

• Keeping track of offers and ongoing projects in the ERP system.

Who Are You?

You are analytical, accurate, and highly organized. Additionally, you have:

• HBO-level education or experience;

• The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously;

• A proactive approach and excellent communication skills;

• Interest in CSR, sustainability, and the practical application of AI;

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

• Experience in a tender desk or internal sales role is a plus;

• The ability to communicate complex matters clearly and effectively, switching seamlessly between content and process.
